golden compass
ABOUT THE LOGO
Compass is one of those things that helps people find their way to their desired destinations. Today, we often associate it with finding ourselves, to show where we used to be and what have we acomplished so far in our lives, but also to find the right path in life. With the map, it gains even greater meaning, symbolizing how often we need someone or something in our lives that will help guide us in the right direction.
A compass of sixteen marked sides of the world symbolizes sixteen personalities, and each quarter is highlighted in a different color to represent four basic categories.
All these colors are connected in the center with a golden one that represents a common beginning, growth and desire for progress and a better and happier future.
the framework
The Psychological Type Framework is based on the theories written by the Swiss Psychological Carl Jung.
ABOUT THE FRAMEWORK
Through the 16 Type framework, individuals are presented with pairs of opposites, such as introversion and extroversion, sensing and intuition, thinking and feeling, and judging and perceiving. By selecting which of the paired opposites best describes them in each category, they can identify their four-letter type.
Each letter indicates a preference for either: introversion/extroversion (I/E), sensing/intuition (S/N), thinking/feeling (T/F), or judging/perceiving (J/P).
While these preferences do not define an individual’s personality entirely, the results can provide helpful insight into how someone communicates, makes decisions, interacts with others, approaches challenges, handles change and structures their work environment.
ABOUT THE 8 SKILLS
While Psychological Type helps us to understand our unique personality, the Jungian Cognitive Functions is the real power behind the Personality Type framework.
16 Type places great emphasis in understanding Psychological Type and the 8 Skills.
